We advocate for freedom, law enforcement, election integrity, and fiscal responsibility. We are also fighting against illegal immigration, indoctrination of children, and big government.
Our activities are focused on Buncombe County and the City of Asheville. Within that geography, we will work hardest on the following:
- We want elected officials who are honest, responsible, and effective. They should be accountable to the people and work to represent their constituents’ interests.
- We want the government to live within its means. We should reduce spending and taxes and eliminate waste and fraud.
- We support law enforcement, freedom and election integrity.
- We expect the media to be responsible and balanced. They should report the news accurately and fairly, and they should avoid sensationalizing or distorting the news.
- We expect our nation to secure the border and enforce our immigration laws.
- We believe that CRT is a divisive and harmful ideology. It should not be taught to children in K-12 schools.
- We want the government to live within its means. We should reduce spending and taxes and eliminate waste and fraud.
- We believe that government should be limited in size and scope. We should reduce the amount of taxes we pay, and we should shrink the size of the government.
I am very concerned about secure elections. If our voting is not verifiable, we have no security in who is a worthy candidate. I work for the elections and every time someone asks, “How do you know if I am who I say I am,” and I cannot give a decent reply.
Willa, ask your precinct chair to be sure that you receive an invitation to poll worker training. It will be good to ask the instructor so that your whole class can receive that answer. Then…come back and tell us what you learned.
