Community Reparations Commission – Rescheduled from Jan 16 to avoid MLK Day

January 9, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EST

$5100000

Please check their website for updates.  The website provides notice that the next meeting will be held on January 9 (instead of January 16).  Whether at Harrah’s or Buncombe County Administration building is not clear.

Refer to the planning document that was presented at their August 15 meeting.

The task of the Reparations Commission is to issue a report in a timely manner for consideration by the City and other participating community groups for incorporation into their respective short-term and long-term priorities and plans.

Meetings will be held on the third Monday at 6:00 p.m. in the Harrah’s Cherokee Center Banquet Hall, unless otherwise noticed.

Members of the public are welcome to attend.

Visit their webpage for meeting materials and recordings.  Additional information is available at the city’s publicinput.com website.
