COMMITTEE’S PURPOSE:  A consolidated health and human services board created under NCGS §153A-77(b) shall have the responsibility and authority to carry out the programs established in this Chapter in conformity with the rules and regulations of the Social Work Services Commission and under the supervision of the Department of Health & Human Services in the same manner as a county Social Work Services board.

WHY WE WATCH:  Threats posed by this board include Advocating for Medicaid expansion and for gun control.
