While confirming details of the upcoming November 1 ASC Board of Education work session, we happened to notice that a special meeting has been quietly scheduled for this Tuesday, October 19, at 5:15 PM.  Surprise!

They certainly need to continue working to determine how to resolve their ongoing budget issue.

They will also take this off-schedule opportunity to hold a Swearing-In Ceremony for George Sieburg.  Mr. Sieburg was appointed in a last-minute call to vote on his appointment toward the end of the August 24 Asheville City Council meeting. Surprise!
