On June 21, Commissioners will interview applicants who wish to serve on the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority and those who have applied to serve on the Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College Board of Trustees. They agreed to leave an open position on the County Planning Board open until they have more candidates apply.
Sooner or later, moderates and conservatives need to infiltrate these boards and commissions. Those teams serve as incubators for ideas to get converted into proposals to city and county governments. Visit the County Boards and Commissions web page or the City’s page for more information.
