The specific functions will be:\n\n\n\nto consider affordable housing policy issues and advise City leadership about those policies.\nto develop concrete action steps to implement the highest priorities of the Affordable Housing Plan\, and to update that Plan as appropriate over time.\nto advise City leadership and staff regarding affordable housing priorities for the investment of City-controlled funds.\n\nAffordable Housing Policy Recommendations result from six months of interviews between the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (AHAC) and non-profit\, for-profit\, and public housing developers. The purpose of these interviews was to learn more about developers’ experiences and perceptions of building affordable housing in the area in order to develop a list of recommendations for increasing future affordable developments.
